Mrs. Whitten is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and joins Elite Family Medicine in our aesthetics division, Renew by Elite. 

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University then went on to obtain her MSN/FNP from Troy University. She has a diverse nursing career to include medical surgical nursing, critical care nursing, clinical research for various disease states including HIV/Infectious Disease, Oncology, and most recently patient education as a clinical educator for respiratory diseases such as COPD and Interstitial Lung disease. 

Mrs. Whitten is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and relaxing in the sun.
